What should campers bring to camp?
Campers should bring plenty of soccer clothing, cleats, shinguards, a soccer ball, sunscreen, swimming trunks, alarm clock and linens/towels for the week.

Once on campus follow clearly marked signs for soccer camp where you will
check-in and recieve your soccer itinerary and housing assignment.

When is the first meal?
First meal served will be dinner on Sunday.

Do you provide transportation from the airport to the camp?
Yes. Transportation to and from Myrtle Beach International Airport can be provided at a cost of $25. Please include a copy of your flight itinerary with your application.

Can you recommend any local hotels in Myrtle Beach in case campers arrive a day early?
Yes. Microtel Inn & Suites is located 2m from campus and is comfortable and affordable.

Where are campers housed?
Campers stay in airconditioned dorms on the Coastal Carolina University campus. Please bring bedsheets, blanket and pillow. The dorms are located adjacent to the cafeteria and within easy walking distance of all fields. All dorms are supervised by University staff 24 hours a day as well as having staff coaches staying in each hall.

How many campers per room?
Camp dormitories are apartment style with 4 private bedrooms and a central living area. Some dormitories house 2 campers per room, with 2 rooms sharing an adjoining bathroom.

What about security and safety for campers?
All dorms are supervised by University staff 24 hours a day. University Police patrol the grounds 24 hours a day. Doors and buildings are secured after hours with key access only. Staff coaches are housed on each hall.

Will campers have access to athletic trainers?
The athletic trainers are housed in the dorms and are accessible 24 hours a day.

What about food at camp?
All meals are served at the University cafeteria which is all-you-can-eat and includes several entree choices, vegetables, salads, sandwiches and fresh fruit.

Does my son need to be a good soccer player or on a club or travel team to attend camp?
No requirements for camp are necessary - just the willingness to learn, work hard and have fun!

Do campers need any spending money?
Spending money is not essential, however campers may wish to buy extra drinks/snacks from the camp store or order pizzas for a late night snack.
